The Golarian Calendar is based on a 7 day week and 12 months named after major gods in the Golarian pantheon. There are 364 days a year with a leap day added in every 8 years.

The first day of each season is often a feastday. Some cultures in Golarian consider the feastday not a part of the month but separate from it. In this area (and for simplification) the first month of the each season is 31 days.
